Everyone Wants to Get Rid of Their Smoking Habit

The number of persons who smoke is growing continuously, and so is the number of those who want stop smoking programs.
In the entire world, there are 1.2 billions of smokers and paradoxically, more than 70% of them live in the developing countries. During the last 10 years, many things have been spoken and written about smoking, a habit that is deeply rooted in humanity’s origins for many centuries. In other times, not many people knew anything about smoking and cigarettes, because materials that could reveal the truth about this habit were not available.
Nowadays, smokers that wish to find out more about their habit, about the risks that they are subjecting themselves to or about where they can go if they want to quit smoking can read numerous publications or go to specialized anti-smoking cabinets, TV shows and some websites where all the necessary data can be found.
People that tried quitting for a few time but couldn’t do it often call their family doctor. Even if they voluntarily chose to smoke, almost all smoker will eventually try to break the dependency. Since we all start smoking while still teenagers, we have to ask ourselves why? Talking to a teenager about a bad habit of his is never easy and if it is not done right, you can not expect a truthful answer.

Another series of unhealthy habits or negative behaviors can also lead to smoking in young people. Here we can count the consumption of drugs and alcohol, smoking mothers, especially in mono-parental families, certain psychical malfunctions. Also, we find more and more smokers amongst those who don’t eat breakfast regularly, don’t do any sports and spend a lot of time in front of the computer.
